📰 Press Releases need to be reviewed and approved by Dash Marketing, Legal/Compliance, then determined whether or not it needs to be reviewed and approved Issuing Bank and Network. This is the process of submission for review by Dash Employees.

  1. Client Submits Press Release to Dash

    1. Receiving person should do a quick review prior to submission to Marketing.

      1. Does the Press Release mention the Network (Visa or Mastercard). If so, make sure that the appropriate issuers statement is included:

        • "Card is issued by Pathward, N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc."

        • "Card is issued by Pathward, N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to license by Mastercard International Incorporated."

      2. About Dash and About Pathward statements (if you need to determine this, submit to marketing for review, before you have the client update)

      3. Does the Network name include the registered trademark - requirement is that after the first and most prominent mention of Visa or Mastercard the registered trademark is required Visa® Mastercard® (the c is also lowercase)

  2. Submit to Marketing

    1. If all of the items are updated and present by client, submit to marketing (Elisa) Need to note how, ie email, sharepoint submission, etc

    2. If updates are needed by client, send back to client first and have updates made before submission.

    3. Marketing will assist with determining whether or not Press Release needs to be reviewed by Legal/Compliance.

    4. Marketing will work with Sales on determining the timing and qualifications of them being published.

  3. Submit to Legal/Compliance

    1. If it is determined to have Legal/Compliance review, should this be marketing sending to them? Need to note how, ie email, sharepoint submission, etc

  4. Submission to Pathward

    1. If it is determined that the press release needs to be submitted to Pathward, this will be done by the Compliance team via Partner Pass > Naehas Submission.
