What if I do not have enough funds available to make my purchase?

Should you need to make a purchase but do not have enough funds available, you can request/load funds onto your card in real time.

If you are not an administrator on the account:

  1. Log-in to your Lowe's PreLoad account.
  2. Select YOUR CARD from the menu bar.
  3. Select Request Funds.
  4. Enter the amount you will need to make your purchase and tap Request.
  5. Enter a description that explains what the funds will be used for and then select Continue.
  6. Confirm the transfer by selecting the Request $ button.

The Administrator of the account will be notified but will have to approve the funding request before the funds are transferred to your card to.


If you are an Administrator on the account:

  1. Log-in to your Lowe’s PreLoad account.
  2. Select YOUR CARD from the menu bar.
  3. Select Add Funds.
  4. Enter the amount you will need to make your purchase and tap Add.
  5. To confirm the transfer select Add once again.

If there is enough money in the Company Vault, the funds will immediately be transferred onto your card.
