How do I fund my Lowe's PreLoad account?

Credit/Debit-Transfer:

You can fund your Lowe's PreLoad account using your Credit/Debit card.

To load funds with a debit or credit card (Mastercard®, Visa®, Discover® and AMEX®):

  1. Login to your Lowe's PreLoad account.
  2. Select COMPANY VAULT from the menu bar on the left-hand side.
  3. Select Deposit Funds.
  4. Enter the amount you would like to deposit.
  5. Select Credit or Debit Card as your Deposit Method.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Enter the requested card information into the appropriate fields and select the address that matches the billing address associated with your Credit or Debit Card.
  8. Select Continue.
  9. Review the information and select Deposit Funds.

The funds will be transferred to your Lowe's PreLoad Company Vault. You have the option at this stage to move these funds to your card or to a Team Member’s card.

PRO TIP: Your Credit/Debit billing address will need to match what you entered during the Lowe's PreLoad sign-up process.

Bank Account (ACH from Company Bank Account via Dwolla):

New Bank Account*:

Before funding your account with a new bank account, it must be enrolled and verified using a trial deposit.

  1. Login to your Lowe's PreLoad account.
  2. Select COMPANY VAULT from the menu on the left corner of the app.
  3. Select DEPOSIT FUNDS.
  4. Select CONNECT BANK ACCOUNT.
  5. Follow the prompts for adding your bank account including agreeing to all terms. *
  6. You will receive a confirmation screen and email when the account enrollment request is complete.
  7. Two small deposits will be added to your bank account, typically within 2 business days.
  8. When you see the deposits in your account, note the amounts and log into your PreLoad account to complete the verification process.

*The Bank Account you choose to add must be a business account.
**In order to add a new bank account and to use the value loading functionality, in addition to your PreLoad Account, you must open a Dwolla platform account (“Platform Account”) provided by Dwolla, Inc. ("Dwolla"). 
As part of opening a Platform Account, you must accept the Dwolla Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

Verified Bank Account

  1. Login to your Lowe's PreLoad account.
  2. Select COMPANY VAULT from the menu on the left corner of the app.
  3. Select DEPOSIT FUNDS.
  4. Enter the amount you would like to deposit.
  5. Select your verified bank account when choosing a deposit method then select Continue.
  6. Verify your deposit amount and account input, then select Continue.
  7. Funds will be transferred to your company vault in four to five business days.

PRO TIP: ACH transfers can take several business days to land in your Company Vault. To ensure that your funds are available when needed for spending, we suggest initiating an ACH several days prior to when the funds are needed.


Transfer from Your Banking Software

Another convenient way to fund your account is via a transfer from your bank account to your PreLoad vault using your banking software.  The availability and setup of this option varies by bank and may require assistance from your bank.

  1. Login to your Lowe's PreLoad account.
  2. Select COMPANY VAULT from the menu on the left corner of the app.
  3. Select DEPOSIT FUNDS.
  4. Select SEND MONEY DIRECTLY TO YOUR LOWE’S PRELOAD ACCOUNT.
  5. Click CONTINUE.
  6. You will be provided with the account name, routing and account numbers for your company vault.  This information may be used to transfer funds directly to your company vault.
  7. Direct transfers typically take one to two business days.
